Assessments
A qualified professional conducts a thorough comprehensive evidence-based assessment to develop an individualized treatment plan recommendation and/or positive behavioral support plan that families can utilize for their child’s treatment.
Family Education
A qualified professional aids in orienting parents, legal guardians, or caregivers on developmental disabilities and the scientific principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis intervention strategies specific to their child’s individual needs.
Family Training
A qualified professional will meet one-on-one with families and/or caregivers to instruct them in the application of skills and intervention strategies based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis specific to their child’s individual needs.
Private Consultation
A qualified professional works collaboratively with families, professionals, and/or agencies to provide additional assessments, intervention oversight, case collaboration, education, training, and service support.
Applied Behavior Analysis Intervention
A qualified professional works one-on-one with the child utilizing a treatment plan based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement evidence-based treatment goals.

Idaho Medicaid/Idaho YES
Children's Habilitation Intervention Services (CHIS) is available for individuals with Medicaid who are birth through the month of their 21st birthday and demonstrate a need for Intervention Services. CHIS can be provided by Developmental Disabilities Agencies (DDAs) or Independent Providers.

Youth Empowerment Services (YES) is the mental health system of care in Idaho for children with serious emotional disturbance (SED) — a term used to identify children under the age of 18 who have both a mental health diagnosis and a functional impairment. The YES Program uses a child and family centered, team-based, strengths and needs focused approach for early identification, treatment planning, and implementation of care. A part of their variety of treatment plans, Behavioral modification and consultation The design, implementation and evaluation of social and other environmental modifications to produce meaningful changes in human behavior. Behavioral strategies are used to teach the youth alternative skills to manage targeted behaviors across social and learning environments.
